A short selection of two SR tank loco classes that I happened upon in 1961 and 1962. The W Class 2-6-4 tanks that worked goods trains on the Oxted line. And the Z Class 0-8-0 tanks whose main purpose was to bank passenger trains up the short but very steep section from Exeter St Davids to Exeter Central.
